This is a simple notice about how your data is handled when you subscribe to the rkrk.io newsletter. I believe in transparency — no fine print tricks.

What I collect

• Email address — so I can send you the newsletter.
• Consent status — a record that you agreed to receive emails.
• Timestamp — when you subscribed.

How I use it

Only to send you the rkrk.io newsletter — language learning insights, teaching philosophy updates, and related content from Kee. Nothing else. No selling. No sharing.

Where it's stored

Securely on Supabase (a GDPR-compliant cloud database service based in the US). Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Your rights

• Unsubscribe anytime — every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Request deletion — reply to any email asking me to delete your data.
• Access your data — ask me what I have, and I'll tell you.

Cookies

This site does not use tracking cookies or analytics. The only "cookie-like" thing is Supabase's session handling if you log into any future account features (which is opt-in).

Data security

The website is served over HTTPS (Vercel). Your data is stored in Supabase with row-level security — only I can access the subscriber list. The subscription form uses Supabase's anonymous key with strict insert-only permissions, so no one can read or modify data through the website.
